Lake District - September 2010
My first trip, well from what I can remember, to the Lake District in Cumbria to view the wonderful scenary this place has to offer. Obviously a trip to the famous Lake Windermere was a must and to Coniston where Donald Campbell broke the water speed record in 1955, and unfortunately where he lost his life trying to regain the title in 1967.
The views are spectacular and so are the long and winding roads around the lakes, unfortunately I was not driving but I do plan to go back now I have my current car.
Well here was my first attempt at some proper scenary shots, some didn't come out too bad, but I am no professional.
