Japfest - 19th May 2007
The first major car show of the event calendar and it was a great turnout, not only for Civic Type R owners, but for the rest of the show. It had got to be the biggest attendance so far in the events history and with the track fully booked for it's sessions, it promised to be a busy old day.
The main attraction to this show is the track action, and this year was no exception with Drift displays scheduled and some high spec cars making an appearance, from the infamous Norris Designs Evo and a couple of high spec'd Scoobies, only one did not survive.
The rest of the Castle Combe Race circuit was packed with Car Club Displays from every club imaginable, a healthy display from the Subaru Impreza owners and the usual excellent attendance from the MLR (Mitsubishi Lancer Register), as well as a suprising good number of Honda NSX's. Also the show and shine area of the show featured some suprising sights.
